Why Install A Skylight?

Skylights are a great addition in any area of the home but particularly in bathrooms and even laundries that traditionally have low levels of natural light. Skylights create a bright, natural light but they also add an amazing feature and wow factor in a room. They bring the outdoors inside and provide a beautiful view, which in some bathrooms is one aspect that is often lost due to windows being obscured for privacy. When we say view, we don’t just mean the sky, it’s the clouds, sun, stars, moon and even storms.

If for some reason you can’t install a skylight due to structural restrictions or for any other reason, a solar tube or sun tunnel might the option for you. While they don’t provide a view of the sky, they are easy to install and help to provide some additional natural light.
